Meet Our Judges

Bridget Holmes, a Philadelphia native, began her training under Liz Fitchett-Tillotson and Scott Jovovich (Joffrey Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Tony Award Winning Broadway credits). As a company member of the Mid-Atlantic Dance Theater, she performed both classic ballets such as the Nutcracker and originally composed works by Mr. Jovovich as well as Nina Federova (New York City Ballet), Carla Craig Krochak (Philadelphia Civic Ballet) and Barbara Sandonato (Pennsylvania Ballet). Throughout her teenage years, Bridget also traveled, competed and took master classes with some of the industries most revered teachers and choreographers such as Joe Lanteri, Joe Tremaine, Mia Michaels, Gil Stroming, Jason Parsons and Suzi Taylor.

 

In 2004 Bridget earned her B.F.A. in Dance and Choreography from Temple University. While there, she performed in student and professional concerts both at the University and in performances throughout Philadelphia and New York City, most notably with choreographer and director of danceTheaterX, Charles O. Anderson. In addition to her technique and composition studies in the music and dance program, she also was the Co-Captain of the nationally ranked Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team which performed at Temple University sporting and community events. To supplement her training further, Bridget also studied at The University of the Arts Summer Intensives and Koresh School of Dance where she was chosen to perform in numerous teachers showcases.

 

After graduation Bridget danced professionally as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers where she had the great experience of performing choreography by Brian Friedman, Tabitha and Napoleon, Chris Judd and others. She also danced with the Philadelphia Soul, Soulmates Dancers which led her to several opportunities to dance live onstage with Bon Jovi in concert. In addition to performing, Bridget has had the privilege and pleasure of teaching, choreographing and coaching in the tri-state area for the past 15 years.  She has served as the head coach of the Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team, choreographer for the Philadelphia Sixers Jr Dream Team and Philly Phresh Crew and head coach of the Haddon Township High School Varsity Dance Team. Bridget currently trains studio dancers and choreographs musical productions in both PA and NJ as well as serves on the judging panel for several national competitions.  Her students have won regional and national titles, been accepted to prestigious university B.F.A. dance programs, and perform with collegiate and professional teams. She is so thrilled to be joining the wonderful staff and performers at ELEVATE!

Narissa Wescott is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator with a BA in

Dance from DeSales University in 2008 and trained at The University of the Arts from

2004-2006. Narissa also earned a level I & II Teaching Certification in Dance (K-12) and a

Masters in Education from Temple University. She is the dance director at Renaissance Charter

Academy School in Phoenixville, PA and has been an instructor/choreographer at various

studios, along with teaching master classes, workshops, and summer dance intensives

throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Narissa has been a member of CoExist Dance

Company, Fight Vixens Dance Team, and performed for five years with Philadelphia's jazz

dance company, Project Moshen Dance Company, as well as a member of the Lehigh Valley

Dance Exchange. Narissa has taught in the Philadelphia district and at Arts Academy Charter

Middle School in Allentown, PA. She has also been the Dance Advisor for Rêve Dance

Company at Penn State. Narissa has performed, taught, and continued her training in Rio de

Janeiro, Brazil and Daytona, Florida with Surfscape Dance Theatre, along with attending the

Dance Teacher Summit in NYC. Narissa has also been a Pro dancer with “Dancing with our

Future Stars”, an event raising money for Independent Mission schools in Philadelphia. Not only

is Narissa continuing to teach and choreograph, but also she is an adjudicator for various dance

competitions such as New York State Dance Challenge, Elevate Dance Competition, True

Dance Challenge, The Road to Broadway Dance Competition, and DreamMaker National Talent

Competition, where she was on “Dance Moms” Season 8 Episode 7. Lastly, Narissa is the

founder/artistic director and choreographer of Artistic Edge Dance Company, a versatile,

professional dance company and she is the founder/director of Dance the Edge Dance

Competition. Narissa is very passionate about her career and continuing the next generation of

dancers in the dance community!

Krystal Aguilar is an NJ native but seconds away from NYC! Krystal trained for 15 years at

Yolanda’s Academy of Music and Dance in West New York, New Jersey, and then studied her

minor in Dance at Montclair State University. She has trained with professionals such as Luis

Salgado (In the Heights, Broadway Dance Center), Megan Fulmer (Shrek: The Musical, National

Broadway Tour), Jeff Shade, Jeff Marx, Diann Sichel, Pamela Licht, and more. MSU was truly

when Krystal found the love of choreographing by choreographing such shows as The Rocky

Horror Picture Show, The Wedding Singer, RENT, and more. But that didn’t stop her there, she

choreographed community theatre/non-profit organizations and high school productions such as,

Shrek The Musical, Man of La Mancha, Annie, RENT, and more. She teaches at a few local New

Jersey dance studios such as Sublime Dance Company, where she has been recognized at

multiple regional/national dance competitions, Danielle Peyton Dance Company and more.

Currently Krystal also serves as an adjudicator as well with Starquest, Journey Dance

Competition, Take Center Stage Dance Challenge, Nexstar, as well as Elevate Dance Challenge

for the 2024 season. Krystal dreams of one day owning her own dance studio to be able to train

students of her own.
