Meet Our Judges

Michelle "ChellieFig" Figueiredo graduated magna cum laude from Rider University with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience, a B.A. in Dance Performance, and a certificate in leadership. Michelle was a Mildred C. Hawkins Fine Arts Endowed Scholarship recipient and was selected to be in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for 2012/2013. Michelle was in four honor societies, one of which is the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. Throughout college, she trained with American Repertory Ballet at the Princeton Ballet School, served as a member/choreographer of the Rider Dance Ensemble, and was the Vice President for the Rider Dance Team.  Currently, Michelle works in healthcare as an Ortho Tech/Sales Rep/Account Manager.  Aside from her day job, she dances with AJ Harper Dance Project. 


Michelle is a former four-year veteran and two-year captain of the NBA’s Sixers Dancers.  While representing the Sixers Dancers, she has performed internationally across China on an NBA China Tour (4x).  Michelle was also selected to represent the Sixers Dancers on the NBA All Star Dance Team held in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She has also performed domestically along the east coast with artists including Pharrell Williams, Vanilla Ice, Montell Jordan, Tag Team, and Nico & Vinz.  She has appeared on many local television and radio stations such as Fox29, PHL17, CBS, Wired 96.5, and WDAS FM.  When Michelle is not performing or teaching, she is developing the chelliefig scholarship fund: A fund designed to raise money for a dance student at her alma mater. Bridget Holmes, a Philadelphia native, began her training under Liz Fitchett-Tillotson and Scott Jovovich (Joffrey Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Tony Award Winning Broadway credits). As a company member of the Mid-Atlantic Dance Theater, she performed both classic ballets such as the Nutcracker and originally composed works by Mr. Jovovich as well as Nina Federova (New York City Ballet), Carla Craig Krochak (Philadelphia Civic Ballet) and Barbara Sandonato (Pennsylvania Ballet). Throughout her teenage years, Bridget also traveled, competed and took master classes with some of the industries most revered teachers and choreographers such as Joe Lanteri, Joe Tremaine, Mia Michaels, Gil Stroming, Jason Parsons and Suzi Taylor.


In 2004 Bridget earned her B.F.A. in Dance and Choreography from Temple University. While there, she performed in student and professional concerts both at the University and in performances throughout Philadelphia and New York City, most notably with choreographer and director of danceTheaterX, Charles O. Anderson. In addition to her technique and composition studies in the music and dance program, she also was the Co-Captain of the nationally ranked Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team which performed at Temple University sporting and community events. To supplement her training further, Bridget also studied at The University of the Arts Summer Intensives and Koresh School of Dance where she was chosen to perform in numerous teachers showcases.


After graduation Bridget danced professionally as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers where she had the great experience of performing choreography by Brian Friedman, Tabitha and Napoleon, Chris Judd and others. She also danced with the Philadelphia Soul, Soulmates Dancers which led her to several opportunities to dance live onstage with Bon Jovi in concert. In addition to performing, Bridget has had the privilege and pleasure of teaching, choreographing and coaching in the tri-state area for the past 15 years.  She has served as the head coach of the Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team, choreographer for the Philadelphia Sixers Jr Dream Team and Philly Phresh Crew and head coach of the Haddon Township High School Varsity Dance Team. Bridget currently trains studio dancers and choreographs musical productions in both PA and NJ as well as serves on the judging panel for several national competitions.  Her students have won regional and national titles, been accepted to prestigious university B.F.A. dance programs, and perform with collegiate and professional teams.

Narissa Wescott is a professional dancer, choreographer, and

educator with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from DesSales

University, along with training at The University of the Arts. Since 2016,

Narissa holds the position as dance director at Renaissance Academy

Charter School in Phoenixville, PA. Her teaching credentials span from

multiple studios in the Bucks and Montgomery counties over the past

fourteen years covering recreational and competition classes, private

lessons, master classes, workshops, and summer dance intensives. Along

with teaching, Narissa has been an adjudicator for the past four years

working with companies such as, New York State Dance Challenge,

DreamMaker National Talent Competition, True Dance Challenge, and The

Road to Broadway Dance Competition. Furthermore, Narissa is the

founder/creator/artistic director and choreographer of Artistic Edge Dance

Company, a professional versatile company founded in 2018.

Narissa’s professional performing credentials include: CoExist Dance

Company, Fight Vixens Dance Team, and performed for five years with

Philadelphia's jazz dance company, Project Moshen Dance Company. She

has also performed with Fancy Feet Productions at Dorney Park and

Lehigh Valley Dance Exchange with Sarah Parker. Her professional

teaching experience started in the Philadelphia School District and then

became a dance faculty member at the Arts Academy Charter Middle

School in Allentown, PA. She has also been the Dance Advisor for Reve

Dance Company at Penn State.

Narissa has performed, taught, and continued her training in Rio de

Janerio, Brazil and Daytona, Florida with Surfscape Dance Theatre, along

with attending the Dance Teacher Summit in NYC. In 2015, Narissa was a

Pro dancer with “Dancing with our Future Stars”, an event raising money

for Independent Mission schools in Philadelphia. Not only is Narissa very

passionate about her career, but loves contributing her knowledge and

talent in the dance community!
