Meet Our Judges

Cara is thrilled to join Elevate Dance Competition this season! She trained at the Rock School for Dance Education in their professional ballet division. She performed professionally as a company member with Ballet San Antonio and Connecticut Ballet. Currently, Cara lives in NYC and is a professional musical theater performer. Some favorite credits include Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, Evita, and West Side Story. Along with performing, Cara loves passing along her knowledge and love of dance to the next generation of dancers!

Bridget Holmes, a Philadelphia native, began her training under Liz Fitchett-Tillotson and Scott Jovovich (Joffrey Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Tony Award Winning Broadway credits). As a company member of the Mid-Atlantic Dance Theater, she performed both classic ballets such as the Nutcracker and originally composed works by Mr. Jovovich as well as Nina Federova (New York City Ballet), Carla Craig Krochak (Philadelphia Civic Ballet) and Barbara Sandonato (Pennsylvania Ballet). Throughout her teenage years, Bridget also traveled, competed and took master classes with some of the industries most revered teachers and choreographers such as Joe Lanteri, Joe Tremaine, Mia Michaels, Gil Stroming, Jason Parsons and Suzi Taylor.
In 2004 Bridget earned her B.F.A. in Dance and Choreography from Temple University. While there, she performed in student and professional concerts both at the University and in performances throughout Philadelphia and New York City, most notably with choreographer and director of danceTheaterX, Charles O. Anderson. In addition to her technique and composition studies in the music and dance program, she also was the Co-Captain of the nationally ranked Temple University Diamond Gems Dance Team which performed at Temple University sporting and community events. To supplement her training further, Bridget also studied at The University of the Arts Summer Intensives and Koresh School of Dance where she was chosen to perform in numerous teachers showcases.
After graduation Bridget danced professionally as a member of the Philadelphia 76ers Dancers where she had the great experience of performing choreography by Brian Friedman, Tabitha amd Napoleon, Chris Judd and others. She also danced with the Philadelphia Soul, Soulmates Dancers which led her to several opportunities to dance live onstage with Bon Jovi in concert.

Jaclyn O’Rourke is a dynamic dance instructor, choreographer, and creative director with over 20 years of experience in the dance industry. A graduate of the University of the Arts with a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance, her extensive career has taken her from the studio to the stage. She has danced with ASH, under the direction of Braham Logan Crane, Michael Susten & Company, and has worked as a performer at Atlantic City’s Taj Mahal. A sought-after educator, Jaclyn has experience in teaching jazz, ballet, hip hop, & contemporary to both young students and adults. In addition to her extensive experience teaching in a studio setting, she has taught at renowned institutions like the University of the Arts, The Rock School, and Millennium Dance Complex in Philadelphia. Known for her eclectic and award-winning choreography, she blends traditional and contemporary dance styles, creating performances that captivate and inspire. Her choreography has been chosen to perform at Carnival Choreographer's Ball in NYC, NYC Jazz Choreography Enterprises, and on Boston University’s Dance Team. Whether working with students or professional dancers, her passion for movement and dedication to her craft shines through in every class and performance. Jaclyn continues to influence the dance world with her innovative approach to teaching and choreography, inspiring dancers to push the boundaries of their artistry
